ACS is proud to sponsor our very own Jasmine Golby as one of this year’s Tuggerah Lakes Mardi Gras Queen entrant. Jasmine will participate in 4 events where candidates will be judged on; the amount of exposure they raise for the Mardi Gras festival, personality, dress, speech and communication skills. The first event was Barefoot Bowls held at The Greens, The Entrance. Jasmine had to introduce each member of her team to a crowd of approximately 100 guests, which Jasmine did with ease. It was a fun night with Jasmine’s team winning 9-0. Then it was the 15 minute Individual Interview, where Jasmine was questioned by a panel of independent judges about her interests, hobbies and ambitions. On Saturday night, Jasmine, friends and staff from ACS attended the “Ball in the Mall”, held at the Glasshouse Function Centre, The Entrance. The night was very enjoyable. The 14 candidates were invited on stage to do a 5 minute presentation; Jasmine was very impressive speaking about her aspirations, lifestyle and career. The last event will be the Street Parade, to be held this Saturday 3 December 2011 starting at 1pm from Toowoon Bay Road concluding at The Memorial Park, The Entrance. Jasmine will have her very own ACS “personal protection” team escorting her in the street parade, so please come out and support Jasmine at the Tuggerah Lakes Mardi Gras Festival this Saturday at The Entrance, where the Queen and runner up will be announced from 2.45pm.
